This venue is GORGEOUS! The food was incredible (and huge portions too), and the staff were all friendly and helpful! Both our ceremony and reception were on site- everything came out better than we could have ever imagined! Michelle and Sam were great to work with, and we felt fully supported throughout the wedding planning process! They are very experienced, and it shows with how well they conduct business and supported us! In addition, they were very flexible, and helped ensure that our wedding day was absolutely perfect!!! We highly recommend Simply Elegant Catering at Merrimack Valley Golf Course!

We worked with their catering division, and really appreciated their ability to tailor a menu specifically to our needs (a thematic party about travel to the UK & Ireland). Their ideas for apps were spot on and they also served up a specialty cocktail and whiskey tasting, and worked with our non-standard event space, which added up to a great value compared with renting a restaurant space!

Our attendees and staff cannot say enough great things about the Merrimack Event team. From start to finish, Sam was polite, attentive, and efficient. Sam went above and beyond to help decorate the event venue beautifully and of course, have his chef design an out of this world Southern Fare dinner menu to match our event's theme. Everyone told us out of the 8 years we have hosted this event - this one was truly the best. We cannot wait to use Simply Elegant Catering again next year!

I am so happy that I chose Simply Elegant for my wedding, and Merrimack for my venue. Assistance with planning my wedding was something that was very important to me because I own my own business. Michele and Sam did everything they could to help me, and they helped relieve most of the stress involved with wedding planning. The food was amazing. We can't say enough great things about this venue! We got married here on September 24, 2017 and everything was perfect. This venue is truly a hidden gem. When we first saw it and met with Michele, we knew right away it was the perfect setting for our day. The vendor package was a huge help and we loved that all the vendors were familiar with MVGC as well as each other. This ensured the whole day went flawlessly. It was so amazing to walk into the venue the day of, and have the vision for your dream wedding executed perfectly. Our guests are still raving about all the food especially the donut wall! The sunsets here are seriously gorgeous and made for some amazing pictures! Thank you Michele, Sam and their team for helping us create our dream wedding!

Michele was absolutely amazing to work with! As someone who is a classified control freak, I was very nervous going into the planning process for my wedding day. The day I met Michele I knew she was perfect for my day! I trusted her 100% and could see how great she was at her job. She was on top of every detail, very easy to work with and communicate with, and is a huge support through this stressful time. She is very organized and professional and she will make sure your day goes as close to perfect as possible, just like she did for mine!!! PS all the other workers I had met along the way (other day of coordinators - AnnMarie specifically-, wait staff, bartenders, chefs, and even the guys that work for the regular golf place) made my day amazing. They all want the best for their brides and grooms and it shows. They work hard, they're genuinely kind, and they will treat you like royalty. Another PS go with their recommended vendors, you won't regret it! :)
